To raise the tension in preparation of our new album, our label Massacre records releases the opener track “Sirene” as a first digital single. The officials release date is March 8th, 2013 – just in time for our prelistening party. The song can be purchased and downloaded via MASSACRE Download Store as well as all other common online music stores (like iTunes, Amazon etc.).

Driven, catchy and engaging the song gives you a first impression of what to expect from both “Aus schwärzester Nacht” and our new singer Martin. As a little treat, we also added an acoustic new version of “Ardeo”, the title track of our previous release. And everybody who’d like to hear more will get the whole nine yards on March 22, when our new album hits the stores. Simultaneously to finishing the recording, we reveal the artwork of our new Album's "Aus schwärzester Nacht" frontcover. Again we've been working together with Travis Smith, who already designed the two previous booklets of "Ardeo" (2010) and "Am Rande der Welt" (2008). The artwork underlines what the record is all about: We are ready to take off, with new energy and a lot of new powerful songs.

We will hit the stages all through Germany from April on.

Parallel to the regular album, there will be a limited Digipak. This special release consists of two bonus tracks and a slightly different cover. See the tracklist below:

since this summer, we’re working on new songs for our next record. Now, at last, we are proud to announce it is going to be released on 22.03.2013! The title will be “Aus schwärzester Nacht”. Working with our new singer Martin feels great and is more than just filling a gap. It is 100% “Nachtgeschrei” and even a little bit more.

All further details, like recording, booklet, layout, tracklist and stuff will be reported here soon. Step by regularly, it’s worth it! Also, the booking for 2013 is in the final period, so there will be new gigs proclaimed these days.

Curtains up! We have a littel surpirse for you: Since we were often asked about our new singer, we just had to record a song with Martin.

After a long search, the decision was made quickly: we rehearsed and did test recordings with a lot of great singers, but one guy just blew us away...

Martin LeMar will be the new voice of Nachtgeschrei!

And what a voice – Martin, who already provided the vocals for Tommorow's Eve and progressive metal legend Mekong Delta, just convinced us with his voice and personality. We are absolutely sure that he is the right guy to kick off once again with.

it has been some weeks since we played our last concert so far in
Munich. This last ever show in this recent line-up has been quite
emotional for us as well as for the audience. Now Hotti has left the
band to concentrate on new goals.

When we look back on the last six years, we look back on more than
hundred shows, three studio albums and so much more that followed the
release of our first-ever demo CD in early 2006. Now ends this first
chapter of Nachtgeschrei.
Thank you, Hotti, for having been there. We wish you all the best for
your whatever we did - you were there with us.

we’re still overwhelmed by the tremendous feedback we got for our sixth anniversary show: a crowd of 350 raised the roof of the ‘Goldene Krone’ in Darmstadt – thanks a lot for more than two and a half hour of party, sweat and rock ‘n roll. And for those of you who weren’t there: To get an impression of what you missed, visit Metal District.
Thus ends our sixth year with a highlight – and what a year it was: From the clubshows in spring via the great festival to ‘our’ tour with Subway to Sally. Wherever we went, we had a blast – and you were always there with us.
But not all news were good news: 2011 also marks the year in which our longtime singer Hotti decided to take his leave from Nachtgeschrei. Although we deeply regret his decision, the band will live on, the remaining six decided in unison. Everyone who wants to see us perform live and together with Hotti will have a last chance at our coming club shows in spring 2012 – check our calendar!
Before setting of into our winter, we want to wish you all happy holidays and all the best for the New Year!
It is said that an end is a new beginning: We ‘re looking forward to meeting again in 2012!

Now, as the days are getting shorter it's about time: our annual birthday show is going into its sixth round. Once again we will be playing at "Goldene Krone", Darmstadt, a local cult venue. You guys really rocked the house there in 2009 - so let's meet again on December 17th for an encore. This year we will be supported by the Pirate-Rockers "Elmsfeuer" and "Tumultus Simplex" with their archaic bagpipe power.
Furthermore, this show will be among the last chances to see us live together with our Hotti, who has been our singer from the beginning on. Hotti will leave us after the clubshows in spring 2012 - so take your chance to party with him for one of the last times.

Summer's gone and autumn is about to draw in - cold nights and shorter days leave no doubts about that fact.
It's about time for us to say Thank You: for all the great summer shows and festivals. Although the weather was not always how we wanted it to be, we had a great time on the road. Exciting days and nights, meeting old friends and making new acquaintances. Thanks a lot to everybody who was there with us - you seriously rocked!
Now we're back in our rehearsal room, for the next highlight is just ahead. This October we will be supporting Subway to Sally on their recent "Schwarz in Schwarz" tour. It's a great honour for us to hit the road with this German Metal legend.
The opening show of the tour is a reason to celebrate in more than one way: firstly starting the tour in Neu-Isenburg could well be a home match for us, secondly because it's our 100th show. Who would have even dreamt about coming this far when we started the band back in 2006? We have lived through five impressive years together with you and it's about time to celebrate that fact.
As a small birthday gift from us for you, we give away some tickets for our annual anniversary concert this December. It has become something of tradition for us to celebrate the passing of a year together with you guys - and this year we really have a reason to do so. We're looking forward to see you all on December 17th at Goldene Krone, Darmstadt.
But that's not all: we already have the first confirmed dates for 2012. After our "Ardeo" tour this year we will be back in the clubs next spring. Let's raise our glass to the next one hundred shows!

We got bad news from Club Biergarten (BiGa) in Dieburg: the show on 22nd April has to be moved because of the dancing prohibition on Good Friday. New date will be 22nd June 2011!

We're back from Luxembourg – back from our first show at our neighbouring country where we played in front of a small but nevertheless crazy audience - thanks a lot, you made us feel at home.

Now we're back at home for a last club-show before the festival-season kicks off: we'll be playing at Club Biergarten in Dieburg on April 22nd (Good Friday). We're already getting a lot of feedback for this show and are therefore very excited about it. As a special treat we will be playing some older and more neglected songs – it will surely be a special night to remember.

As for Schecter-Guitars: we recently got a partner for some our instruments. American manufacturer Schecter Guitars will endorse Sane with their seven-string axes both for studio and live gigs. We are very happy about their great support!

Never before we did so many indoor-shows in a row - an experience we wouldn't want to miss. You were there on all of our concerts, some even braved deep snow and grim frost. Thanks a lot for firing up - more than once we were surprised by the sheer energy.

We just got an addition to our schedule on short notice: we'll be returning to Dieburg (Club Biergarten) on the 22nd of April and will give our best to make this show something special. Hope to see some of you guys around.

Spring is not far away - neither is the next Nachtgeschrei gig! The first "Ardeo" club-tour gig will be in Forst (Lausitz). In March we continue with the next five very special gigs rocking the clubs! We're really looking forward to those way too rare chances to have a party so close to you.

If you can't wait for that you can listen to the live interview at the only radio station Metal Only with Tilman, Hotti and Stefan. It will be on Friday, 26th January 2001 between 10 and 12 pm.

First things first - we got some important information about our next album we'd like to share. Titled "Ardeo" it will be released on 26th November, again via Massacre Records.
Those of you who want to take a sneak on the amazing artwork that Travis Smith created for us can click here - check it out and see for yourself. Travis managed to beautifully capture a snapshot of the title song which we no longer want to to hide from you. We also got some neat new merchandise stuff, apart from zippers, hoodies and badges we also have a new "Niob" t-shirt design.

... at least from our point of view, since we just finished the last festival weekend for this year - thanks a lot for your support. We had a blast and can't remenber any summer with so little rain or rather such great weather during our shows - we also can't remenber that the audience was ever greater, crazier or more willing to party. Hi there - Schlosshof-Festival was a blast, from the very beginning to the bitter end. But not only did we play and party hard, we also had with us some brand new merchandise which is now available at our online-shop. Those who followed our news and studioblog-entries during the last weeks already know it: we are done with the recordings for our new album. You can get an impression of our the last weeks spent at SU2-studios by having a look at our photos and blog entries on Myspace or Facebook (in German only- sorry 'bout that).

Now we are nervously waiting for Phil Hillen to come up with the first finished mix of our next CD. But for now, we have to be patient just as you: haste makes waste, and we know Phil to work thoroughly wanting to blow our ears right from the start.

As a contrast to working (and living) in a cramped studio for weeks we finally have returned to our favourite pastime of rocking and partying- and our show at the RUDE-Open Air was just the occasion. So now we are wound up and looking forward to the upcoming events – hope to see you there

There have been no news for quite a while - but we have a reason for that! Many things happend meanwhile and now we think it's time to let you know.

First, most important, you need to know that we've almost finished the songwriting for our new album in which we put high hopes into.

The last months we only had a break from songwriting to play shows. The pre-production is still going on and yet there are a few of us in the sutio to drum like hell!

Next, there are some more concerts planned for this year and we also have a new partner at our side: the concert agency Extratours - just check them out ;-)

The NG fanclub is growing and growing and has a quite familial fialr. We support the fanclub-site by answering questions in the forum or writing a tour diary. We have a lot of fun and are happy about the continuous growth.

NACHTGESCHREI has been confirmed for this year's Ragnarök Festival, set to take place April 30 - May 1, 2010 at Ostbayernhalle in Rieden/Kreuth, Germany.
